Millers Charity of the Year

Each year, the employees of Miller Auto Body vote on a charity of the year. This charity is the beneficiary of a number of fundraising endeavors put on throughout the year. One of the main events is our Friday Fun-Raisers. One Friday per month, the dealership puts on a lunch in which the employees (and sometimes customers) pay $7 of which the proceeds are donated to Charity of the Year.

Coborn Cancer Center

Each October, the dealership donates one seat belt cover for each customer test drive taken during the month. The seat belt covers are donated to the Coborn’s Cancer Center who distributes them to women battling breast cancer. Seat belt covers are important for women undergoing chemotherapy as the treatments are most commonly administered through a port or PICC line which is frequently located along the seat belt line, which can make wearing a seatbelt without a padded cover very uncomfortable.

Hole in One Sponsorships

Each season, Miller Auto Body is proud to participate in the many charitable and fundraising golf outings area businesses promote on local courses.

NitroX Automotive Camp for Kids

Every year, the dealership provides support for the NitroX program which engages kids in the automotive industry. The annual camp is held at the St. Cloud Community and Technical College and the culmination of the program is that kids build and race their own NitroX cars. Also during the program, the dealership hosts a lunch for the kids and instructors, provides tours of the entire dealership, as well as providing each of the participants with a Miller/NitroX branded apparel.

Adopt-A-Highway

Each year, a group of dealership employee’s volunteer time to help keep our community clean through the Adopt-A-Highway program.

Toys for Tots

Each holiday season, the dealership is involved in a campaign to collect toys for the Toys for Tots program. The dealership encourages community involvement by agreeing to donate an oil change for every customer who donates a toy.

Chamber of Commerce

Active participant in the Chamber Connection, and supporter of events at local businesses.

Customer Appreciation Days

Twice a year, we invite customers to the Plaza for lunch, prize giveaways, and family fun.

The Spirit of Giving

Each holiday season, Miller Auto Body sponsors a few families in our Community, which are nominated by our employees. A list of items needed is gathered from the family. The employees go and pick an ornament off a tree within the dealership that lists out those items. The employee purchases the item, wraps, and returns the gift under the tree. Once all gifts are returned, Miller provides them to the sponsored families.

Central MN Habitat for Humanity

Each year Miller Auto Body brings a group of employees to help at a home build construction site.

American Red Cross

Twice per year, we invite the American Red Cross into the dealership for a blood drive. A number of employees participate by providing lifesaving blood donations. Community members are also welcome and the dealership supports this through advertising on social media and our readerboard.

Backpack Drive

The dealership donated approximately 200 backpacks full of school supplies to local schools in an effort to help children whose families cannot afford these basic necessities.

Salvation Army

The dealership proudly sponsors two Philanthrofeed’s during the year. Philanthrofeed is a program which provides and serves hot meals to the homeless community. Dealership employees volunteer time to serve the meals.

TriCounty Humane Society

Every year we pick a Charity of the year. Our staff votes and we run several small things throughout the year that allow us to contribute money raised to the Local Tri County Humane Society. With the growth of our community and the need for more space and volunteers, we thought naming our Charity of the Year as TriCounty Humane Society was a perfect fit! Throughout the year, we will be donating money to allow Tri County to continue to operate at the efficient level they currently do.
